 The KCP International Japanese Language School is open to all full-time undergraduate students regardless of their fields of study; to postgraduate students; and to adult professionals. There is a minimum age requirement of 18. This is a college-level program; it is not for high school students.
Courses range over 6 levels of language ability. To apply, one semester of college-level Japanese language is strongly suggested (though not required). You also need an overall GPA of at least a 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
If you are not a native speaker of English, you must demonstrate your English ability. For non-students, copies of recent high school or college diplomas are required instead of a transcript. Students with the most enthusiastic comments about our program have had at least 1 year of college Japanese.
If you don’t have a college semester of Japanese, consider preparing for the program by taking a class first.
