Why did you select this program?

After coming here during the 2013 Fall term I loved the intensitive learning method that was used in class.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I enjoyed everything KCP had to offer me, there is nothing that I disliked.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

Pair work and small group sessions.

Where did you reside over the course of this program?

Where did you live?

Kasai Dorm

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I enjoyed talking to the different people in the dorm who went to a different Japanese language school. I had no problems that I experienced during my stay at the dorm.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

This is a school that can truly help anyone improve their Japanese. Not only do you meet new people but those people become lifetime friends.

If you’re looking for an intensive course, then KCP is the place to go! Although it was hard work, it was also a lot of fun and I’m very pleased with my current language skill – and I’ve only just finished Level 1! Going out with the class for a final dinner really showed me how much we’d learnt as we had no problems in conveying our feelings even though our only common language was Japanese. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
