The most productive and interesting aspects of the program.

Goncalves from Fall 2019

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

As far as the optional events, the trip to Yamanashi was satisfying as we got to see many different things in just a short weekend.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

Review sessions with Kato sensei were very helpful for reviewing grammar and understanding things better. Class and homework in general were helpful for reviewing material.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

The review sheets we received during Kato Sensei's review classes were helpful in studying. In class, daily tests on Kanji were helpful leading up to the larger Kanji tests. The homework from our "勉強ノート" was helpful because it would get corrected and we could see if our understanding of the material was correct or not prior to the test.

Testimonials

This program has been awesome, and I learned a lot about Japanese language and culture within such a short period of time. The teachers are very patient and they try their best to encourage everyone’s participation by making the class fun. I would definitely recommend this school to other people who wants to go to Japan to study Japanese.
